UKSA is a successful nautical charity, based on the Isle of Wight, who believes in the power of the sea to make a change in young people’s lives. They do this both as a youth charity and also as a centre of excellence for professional maritime career development.
UKSA were once again the official charity of Cowes Week and as their creative agency, we were asked to create a variety of collateral for them, that not only invited audiences to engage with their brand during the week, but which could be repurposed for future use too.
We needed to expand their existing audience, by inviting Isle of Wight residents and those visiting on holiday to visit the 2015 UKSA Cowes Week stand, get involved, try sailing and donate money.
A range of collateral was produced from radio ads to A3 posters, printed banners, information boards and event invitations. Each piece was produced to create the most engaging piece of content with the specific audience in mind.
As Cowes Week ‘Charity of the Year’ UKSA managed to raise £35,000 which gave every Year 6 student on the Isle of Wight (1,123 pupils) an ‘On the Water’ experience.
